Founded by Matt Noades in 2016, Noades Archictects brings 20 years experience of residential architecture to clients in Rickmansworth and the area. From a studio in Chorleywood, a variety of new build and extension projects have been completed across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Passivehaus Certified
This sought-after standard relates to the design and construction of homes that are exceptionally energy-efficient. This results in a home that is both comfortable and requires minimal energy to run. Sometimes referred to as Passive House, the standards required are tightly controlled by the Passivhaus-Institut in Germany. Studies show that houses built to this standard require only a fraction of the energy to heat that typical houses in the UK require, and considerably less than a typical new-build house.

The team at Noades have a wealth of experience and knowledge about planning applications in Rickmansworth and the area. Working well with Three Rivers District Council we also know what can be achieved under permitted development or with no planning consent at all. Special approvals are also required to work in the Moor Park Estate, and we understand all about listed building consent.
