Project Details
This new 4 bedroom chalet bungalow replaced a 1960’s bungalow. The planning process was challenging as the local neighbourhood plan normally prevents demolition of bungalows on certain streets in the area, but after several applications, each building on the previous ones, permission was obtained for a full demolition and new-build project.
The new house has been designed to bring light into the centre of the house, with high vaulted ceilings and rooflights making the house feel much larger inside than it would appear from the relatively modest exterior.
