Project Details

Three Rivers have a restriction on extending homes in the Green Belt limiting any extension to 40% of the original house area. As most homes have previous extensions that already exceed this figure it can be hard to get permission for further extensions in Green Belt areas such as Sarratt.

We used Permitted Development rights to get an approval for a two storey rear extension and single storey side extension, along with replacement windows, insulated cladding and a total internal remodelling.

As well as improving the internal spaces in the home, we have also managed to improve the thermal efficiency of the building. The current EPC rating is a B (one point off an A rating), and improvement from an F rating for the original house.
