project overview: re-organize the rear of this edwardian semi-detached house in chorleywood village
Project Details
Noades Architects were employed to re-organize the rear of this Edwardian semi-detached house in Chorleywood Village.
Internally the original layout was opened up to give a large open plan kitchen/dining area with a window seat looking over the garden. A long rooflight over the side return brings light into the centre of the house.
Externally the extension is clad with re-finished black timber imported from Canada, and Western Red Cedar to inner faces of the covered porch area.
