Chorleywood House Remodelling and Extension

This bungalow is located in Three Rivers’ Green Belt, making any substantial extension problematic.

Using permitted development rights we managed to double the floorspace of the existing home, while keeping the design sensitive to the original building. High vaulted ceilings with oak trusses give the kitchen and new master bedroom a light and spacious feel. The entrance hall has been enlarged to a scale appropriate to the larger house and two new bedrooms and a bathroom fit in the loft.
